GoodBuy Gear Protection Plan
Our Protection Plan is designed to give you peace of mind for your purchase by covering manufacturer defects beyond our standard 14-day return window. Since our products do not come with a manufacturer warranty, this plan ensures your investment is protected for:
- 1 year on select items
Products covered under our protection plan are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase from GoodBuy Gear under normal use and in compliance with the operating instructions.
What’s Covered:
This plan covers manufacturer defects that may arise after your purchase. If a covered defect occurs, we will provide a replacement part or a comparable replacement for the purchased product. The choice of resolution is at our discretion. The time period is calculated from the date of purchase. All products must be used in accordance with the operating instructions and under normal use
GoodBuy Gear will provide replacement parts or conduct repairs as determined by the company. Parts may be replaced with a newer model as the item is improved over time. No refunds will be given in the event the product is no longer distributed and other accommodations may be given at the discretion of GoodBuy Gear.
What’s Not Covered:
This plan does not cover:
- Defects present at time of purchase
- Defects caused by misuse, poor maintenance, or improper installation of parts/accessories
- Damage caused by corrosion, mold, or rust
- Damage or degradation resulting from normal wear and tear, corrosion, mold, rust, sun exposure, sweat, detergents, damp storage conditions, or frequent washings
- Repairs or modifications carried out by a third party
- Damage caused by airline shipping and handling
- Products involved in an accident
- Products used or owned by individuals other than the registered Protection Plan holder
GoodBuy Gear reserves the right to determine whether the conditions for coverage under this plan are met. Conditions may differ from state to state.
Plan Terms:
- Coverage begins from the date of purchase
- The plan is non-refundable and non-cancelable once the product is marked as delivered to the customer
- The plan is non-transferrable and extends only to the original purchaser from our website.
- GoodBuy Gear will not ship replacement or repair parts outside the US and is only valid within the contiguous United States.
- Claims must be filed through our claims portal or you may contact our Customer Care team.
- You will need to provide the proof of purchase, proof of coverage, photos/videos of the defect for the claim, and any other information requested by our team.
